Great book! My 2 year old son is a Thomas super fan! He loves the great photos and artwork, and rattling off character names as he flips through the pages. It will grow with him as he begins to read because there are great little facts and interesting bits of trivia on each page. It's a very nice hardback book, and the little thomas mini figure on top rolls back and forth along the track. You can take him out, but I think it adds a lot of character to the book and is fun to tip back and forth! I would definitely recommend for any fan of Thomas, big or small!
My Thomas Fan loves this. He’s two and knows more of the characters than I do! It’s got the new characters including Ashima from india. The only thing that I don’t like is that the plastic package that the mini Thomas comes in is not removable and makes the book taller than need be and hard to put on a shorter shelf.
Bought this for my 4.5 year old son, great book with awesome photos and really does include all 'Thomas characters, even ones from the newest movie
Six-year-old grandson's only interest is Thomas trains. Gave him this encyclopedia of characters and he looked through it page by page naming each of the over 100 characters in the book.The book itself is made extremely well. The photos and colors are vivid. This is a high quality book which will be a treasured reference item for many years.
Bought this for my Thomas loving 5 year old! It has gone everywhere with us! He demands it is read to him nightly! I love his love of books and reading, and this is great for that! I really like that it's not all in paragraph form, but little snippets all over!
My daughter (just turned 2) could not have been more excited about this book. The illustrations are great and there is great detail about all of her favorite characters, as well as characters we've not seen before. If your little one is a Thomas fan, they will surely love this book!
I saw this right when it got released and got it for a potty training present for my son. He sits on the potty and reads this book over and over. I mean flips through.
