Wonderful story. I consider Jack Kent to be quality Children's literature for young children.
Cute little story for kids.
My 4 year old's preschool teacher told me about how much my daughter likes this book. I purchased it for her and she has not gone tired of reading it every night. It is a really cute story about being happy with yourself.
When I thought I lost this book, I immediately went onto Amazon to order another one. This is my personal favorite. My students have me read it over and over again!

Cute, but not as great as his other books!
A former early-grades teacher read this book to a group of mature women after a dinner at our club. She had two soft dolls, one a polliwog and the other a caterpillar, which, as she read the story, she slowly unzipped an turned inside out. At the end, when both animals achieved their new form, she lifted the dolls and shook them to their full expansions. (Made by "Folk People" or similar name) It's a delightful book with tender personalities.
Great book. We bought it as a replacement of one we wore out. It's a fun read preschoolers love.
