I found this book to be very disappointing. After following all the work heposts on his website I thought it would be different. The pictures onhis website are so vibrant and interesting and the one's chosen for this bookwere so bland and boring. I understand that they can't put everythingin the book, but at least choose more interesting people. I think Selby madethe book too hipster and as a result it took away from the artistic element.
Love the book for inspiration and always great to see your favorite brands and the people behind them, and how creative minds live and work as well as co-exist with others. The idea behind the book is to showcase how some of he most private but yet public figures in the arts and leisure world lives, work, and play. Great photography and an intimate look at how family, friends, and peace is desired more now than ever.
Very cool book. I have it on the coffee table in my airbnb. My guests love it!
This is an interesting book, but for me it is not really worthwhile to look through again and again. I prefer overall views of homes, and it focuses on the little details more than I find useful. I think it's better to see how the rug itself ties the room together, rather than a close up of the rug with feet on it.
